Corporate Social Responsibility Statement
Corporate Social Responsibility Statement
L2 Interactive’s Corporate Social Responsibility Statement refers to our commitment beyond our business objectives. Even though we are a small business, we strive to be a responsible participant in the global community, and so we need to be aware of how our actions could affect society as a whole. As a fully remote company with clients around the world, our community expands beyond a physical office.
L2 Interactive puts personal connection at the heart of our business. We strive to develop relationships with our employees, clients, users, vendors, and partners that are mutually respectful and beneficial. We know by working together, we can do good. It is important for us to consider the additional ways that we, as a privately held organization, can give back to those in need.
L2 Interactive values family (both given and chosen), creative expression, the healing love of an animal, and the support of a community. We believe that Black lives matter, that kindness is crucial, and that we can do more to uplift and amplify women, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+. These beliefs are reflected in the kinds of organizations we choose to support via donations.
In addition to financial contributions, we donate our time, services, and additional resources to not-for-profits as well as other organizations not having that status. It is important for us to acknowledge that not-for-profit is a status that many organizations doing meaningful and impactful work cannot afford. We choose to do pro bono work for the impact it makes on the organizations we work with. The benefit we derive from doing this work is in understanding, helping and giving while staying stable as a business.
Beyond our efforts to give, we also value our employees and their role in L2. Our success and ability to provide the services we do are closely tied to the personal health and wellbeing of our employees. As a company we respect the basic human rights of all individuals, both those who are involved in our business and beyond, and we stand for the prohibition of forced labor and human trafficking.
L2 is committed to providing the best possible climate for maximum development and achievement of goals for all employees. We celebrate multiple approaches and points of view. We are proactively building a culture where difference is valued. Our practice is to treat each employee as an individual, understanding they bring their whole self to the workplace. We seek to develop a spirit of teamwork; unique individuals working together to attain a common goal. Most importantly, we try to create a workplace where communications are open and problems can be discussed and resolved in a mutually respectful atmosphere. We are committed to working towards a more peaceful and equitable future both inside and outside our company.
